Lottery Rules
- Players must be at least 19 years old.
- Your registered number(s) are yours for the life of this lottery.
- There is no limit to the numbers you can register for and play.
- To enter the lottery, fill out the bottom portion of the registration form in it's entirety (Name, Phone, Email), tear off the bottom portion and place it in the Toonie box (Take note of the number on the form as this is your number for the lottery).
- Take a sticker from the display, clearly write your number on a sticker, underline it, place it on your Toonie, and put it in the Toonie box.
- Cutoff time to play your number(s) is closing time on Monday at our box locations (no exceptions).
- You may play multiple numbers each week, but each number requires a one-time registration form to be filled out to register your number.
- Weekly draw is held at the Hodder Memorial Deer Lake at 7 PM on Wednesdays with the winner being contacted by telephone.
- Draw results displayed at participating locations and publicized on Facebook, this website and local media outlets.
- If the number drawn was not played, then the jackpot is carried over to the next draw for a bigger jackpot. Maximum prize is $500,000. If the maximum prize amount is reached, draws continue until a winning registered number is drawn. Final draw of the licensed period will not have a carry-over jackpot; draws continue until there is a winner.
- To claim the jackpot, winner must present valid photo ID (proof of age) upon request.
- Winners have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prize. Prizes not collected within 90 days are added to the first jackpot following the 90-day period. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the Toonie Draw winner.
- Deer Lake Red Wings reserve the right to make changes upon consultation with Service NL.
- Jackpot prize payout is as follows: 50% winners prize, 50% organization share.
- The odds of winning the Toonie Draw is possibly 1 in 25,000 and is dependent on the number of Toonie Draw (50/50) tickets registered.
